Catherine Dempsey will provide an introduction to keeping honeybees and will discuss how “saving the bees” is all about saving native species.

Lots of practical tips will be discussed and you will see bee keeping equipment first-hand.

You will leave the lecture with a better understanding of honeybees and other pollinators in NL and, as a bonus, you will also take home a plant from the Botanical Garden that will attract these wonderful pollinators to your outdoor space.
