Ijeoma Clare EginiIjeoma Clare Egini hails from Nigeria. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. She then moved to Wales where she obtained a master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences (Medical Microbiology) from Cardiff Metropolitan University. She developed a strong interest in food security, safety and production. Ijeoma remains undeterred in her passion for food safety and security and public health. She moved to Newfoundland in 2018 to study food safety at the Marine Institute. She enjoys subsistence farming and raising poultry. Her hobbies include traditional dancing, innovative food preparation, drama and sewing. She is currently an advisor at NGA Human Resources.
