We are happy to announce, in collaboration with the Memorial University Botanical Garden and the Mercy Centre for Ecology and Justice, we will be holding our Seedy Saturday NL
SATURDAY, April 22 (Earth Day) from 9:30 AM to 4 PM at the Botanical Garden on Mt. Scio Road in St. John’s.
No registration is needed; just show up!
The day will include exchange of seeds, plants, tools, books and magazines about seeds and gardening. You can bring your donations that day. Workshops during the day will cover Seed Starting, Composting, and How to Build Healthy Soil. The final afternoon session will be a general “Ask The Gardeners” panel with Ross Traverse, Pat Puddester, and Tim Walsh.
