How will climate change affect food and food security in NL? What challenges and opportunities exist for local food production in NL, in the face of a changing climate, both locally and globally? What solutions are currently being explored?

The Harris Centre was recently joined by Dr. Mumtaz Cheema, Memorial University; Susan Lester, Lester’s Farm Market; Josh Smee, FoodFirstNL; and Dr. Ivan Emke, “Fit to Eat,” to answer these and other questions, and chat with you about the impact of climate change not only on how we make and import food, but how we create policy around food, and how we plan for the future.
